Canada Goose will open flagship
stores in Chicago and London

anada Goose is taking flight. The upscale
outdoorsy-apparel brand, which boasts that its
merchandise is as rugged as it is luxurious, announced
plans to open two flagship stores this fall, one each in
Chicago and London.
In Chicago the brand will open on Michigan Avenue,
on the city's Magnificent Mile. The London flagship, the
brand's largest retail space to date and the company's
first store in Europe, will be on Regent Street, one of
the U.K.'s most iconic shopping destinations.
Both stores will feature Canadian design elements,
including marble quarried in British Columbia.
"Opening our first European store is not only a
milestone for Canada Goose, but it's turning a dream
into reality," said Dani Reiss, the chain's president
and CEO. "London and Chicago are world-renowned
shopping destinations, and I'm proud to bring our
Canadian heritage, experience and unparalleled
product to their historic streets."
Last year Canada Goose opened its first flagship
stores in Toronto and New York City. Building on six
decades as a manufacturer, Canada Goose became a
retailer in 2014, with the launch of its first e-commerce
site in Canada, followed quickly by operations in the
U.S. in 2015, and in the U.K. and France in 2016. n
