"We have designed … [an] experience that includes both general and spe- cialized sessions focusing on cur- rent industry conversations, macro issues and projected trends," she said. "this new format allows for a more effective knowledge-con- sumption process, giving speakers and attendees appropriate time for real engagement and in-depth in- formation exchange." cancún, on the northeast coast of the Yucatán peninsula, in the state of Quintana Roo, was cho- sen as this meeting's host site after a survey of icSc members. (last year's meeting was held in carta- gena, colombia.) icSc is anticipat- ing about 1,000 attendees this year from across the globe. l a t i n a m e r i c a ' s e c o n o m y i s p r o j e c t e d t o e x p a n d b y a t l e a s t W Saving the date local developers and retailers prep for recon latin america By María Bird Picó 48 S C T / f e b r u a r y 2 0 1 5 T h e w i n n e r s o f 2 0 1 4 — w h o w i l l w i n i n 2 0 1 5 ?
