D E C E M B E R 2 0 1 6 / S C T 131 UP NEXT San Diego–based mixed-use developer OliverMcMillan hired Michael O'Hanlon as its new chief operating officer. O'Hanlon will oversee all company divisions. He has directed two major U.S. real estate companies' asset management groups with portfolios of diversified real estate, one valued at approximately $6 billion, the other at $11 billion. Most recently, he served as CEO and president of Behringer Harvard's opportunity-style REITs. Prior to Behringer Harvard, O'Hanlon held the position of COO and president of Billingsley Co. and was CEO and president of Inland Western Retail REIT. The firm also promoted two key executives: Jeff Zeigler and Eric Buchanan. Zeigler, a member of OliverMcMillan's executive committee, was promoted to senior managing director of asset management and leasing. Buchanan was promoted to join the executive committee and lead the firm's development activities as senior managing director of development. >> Michael O'Hanlon
