OR YEARS RETAIL REAL ESTATE OWNERS HAVE MEASURED their own properties against one another's to improve their sustainabil- ity and energy-saving efforts. But unlike other commercial real estate segments, they have yet to take that extra step of sharing metrics with competitors. That is set to change next year, though, when the ICSC Property Efficiency Scorecard is rolled out.
