Victoria's Secret fans in Puerto Rico even created a Facebook page to beg the chain to open a store on the island. Victoria's Secret finally obliged them last year, and now others, drawn to a region whose robust economies contrast starkly to those of the U.S. and Eu- rope, are doing likewise.
