Lily Rain, which offers women's clothing and accessories in both high- end brands and offbeat alternatives, began as an online-only marketplace in the fall of 2013. Management knew from the get-go, however, that stores would be necessary too, and by the fol- lowing spring, the company had opened its first shop, in Houston's Rice Village.
