Indeed, the locations are excellent, and the occupancy rates at both are north of 95 percent. Broker Luis Castillo and his team took multiple bids and finally let the assets go in December, for an undisclosed price. "Without question, these are investmentgrade properties," said Castillo, director of the Miami office of commercial real estate brokerage HFF. "There was an incredible level of demand for this core, grocery-anchored retail." Given those attributes, the fact that the offer drew investors may be hardly worth a mention.
